Yaro Brock

Co-Founder, UX Researcher

Nearly 20 years ago, Yaro discovered the field of Human Computer Interaction while becoming obsessed with configuring his "3D" joystick. Inevitably, this passion would lead him to completing a graduate degree in Human Centered Design and Engineering at the University of Washington and embarking on a professional career that would span over 15 years. His approach to UX research is proactive; Instead of passively receiving research requests, he is actively involved in making sure the right questions are being asked and answered at the right time, resulting in outputs that are equally actionable and impactful.

Maya Carina

UX Researcher

Maya approaches UX research from her collective experiences as a research scientist in Medicinal Chemistry, and as both a performer and teacher of music. She is fascinated with the functionality of human/computer interactions and how artifacts can influence people's experiences. Maya’s main drive in the field of UX research is to alleviate stress points in systems that are designed to help people navigate the complexities of their lives.

Sam Borgognoni

Front End Developer

Sam began his journey through front end development when a college friend reached out and recommended I try out coding. Little did I know that coding had been something Sam had been passionate about for years, coding mathematics documents using rich-text-editing through LaTex. Most of my experience is in the React framework. Sam is a mathematician, musician and considers himself a “digital frontiersman” of sorts when developing API’s for Reflection UX.
